Welcome to Haxby and Wigginton. We are two active Anglican Churches situated on the North-East side of York and serving a population of around 13,000 people. We rejoice in being individual and distinctive in what we have to offer as churches and yet also in sharing together under a joint leadership. In seeking to respond to the needs of our communities and congregations, we offer a mix of traditional worship and more modern approaches. Holy Communion is fundamental to our spirituality, but we also like to use non-Eucharistic services and to respond to varying tastes and interests.
Children and Young People are very welcome in both churches and there is provision made for them every Sunday.
Both churches lie at the heart of the local community and they host wide-ranging events and groups in their halls, which are available for hire.
